Decorating kids’ rooms: list of resources

Now that we have easy access to the new house, we often go there in order to continue discussing our preferences regarding interior design.  Apart from the kitchen, where I think we’ll end up spending a significant amount of time, my favorite places in the house are the rooms for our kids, a girl of 4.5 years, and a two-year old boy.

Whereas I’d like to stick to a generally neutral color palette all over the house, the kids’ rooms simply ask for some exuberance. My daughter has on several occasions expressed a wish to have a pink room, with an obvious blue option left for her brother.

Trying to leave the traditional blue and pink color palettes aside, I went online trying to gather some inspirational resources that could help me in my choice of materials for kids’ rooms. I am happy to share some of them with you today.

This will surely get me started. If you know any other useful resources about kids’ room decoration ideas, please post a comment!
