More kitchen equipment: hobs from SMEG
I have to admit I have a clear preference for gas in the kitchen, but have not been too impressed by the German offerings in this field – the same clunky design that has characterized gas hobs for generations, in clear distinction to the innovations in vitroceramic and induction.
But now I found this one from Italy’s SMEG. Isn’t it so cute?!
I want one!
Or, if it doesn’t end up suiting our choice of worktop, there’s also this one, though I think I’ll find it a bit too shiny:
This one is also funky, we toyed with the idea of such an arrangement to squeeze in front of the chimney shaft before thinking it was better just to demolish it. But I’m giving it some link love anyway 🙂 Could be though that the rings are too close together?
And lastly, even if we decide we can’t live without the clunky ironmongery, the SMEG model still manages to achieve something esthetically which the others lacked:
Oh, one last one! It is super super lovely but it is for another kitchen…
So many choices! Isn’t this fun! 🙂
